i saw a thread about watching from anime sources but it wasn't updated since 2015.. so i wanted to bring up the idea again? i love syncvideo but there's nowhere i can watch anime sites with my friend. thanks in advance !

For example if another user claimed ownership of my /tv/ room, and I log in the ownership is set to me and the video gets reset to 00:00. really annoying if you're watching a movie.

Tried your service with some friends in Chrome, but only the owner can pause and play the video not the operators. Bug? Thanks

I use relatively old hardware so have less room on my screen for elements. If i could pop out the chat element I could arrange windows on top of each other such that I can see more of the video player while still being able to follow the chat, so I thought I'd suggest it in case it would be useful to others as well.

What it says on the tin be able to change the title of videos. Very handy for specific playlists.

I think you should add ability to grand someone acces to pause/resume video and managing playlist. Just like OP but with more privileges. It could be usefull.

Would be cool if you can add like a slider for speed control (0,25, 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.25, etc)
Because if you control the speed manually it won't work :/

I want to play back files hosted by google video and i think blogpost also. The files themselves are MP4, and the MIME type announces this, but when i try to play it on sync-video, it won't play back because the extension isn't .mp4 or .flv. It would be neat if the server could grab the file headers and determine from there the MIME type. I don't think it's more costly for the server to do it this way.

There's a chance that the URL redirects to another one, but I don't think it would be costly to server-side follow the redirect down a single level and check the MIME there.

Why did you change the layout of the video player? Like having it play automatically when it switches and not being able to stream 1080 when it's available?

The video doesn't fit in the window where it is supposed to be. Can't even put it on fullscreen with the f key.

Whenever you first load a playlist into a new room, the save-option doesn't hold on to the name, So I'd like to request, either that it does retain the name, or even better have a Update saved playlist or something along those lines

For two months (minimum) when a lobby is first created and a video is added, the video shows a still for the creator, but is playing for anyone who joins.

I Frequently make lobbies for friends and wait for them to join before playing the video, but as soon as they join they are generally 10-20 seconds into the video without me realizing it because it isn't playing for me.
